To Win You Back

This story is a mix of wit, humor and sexyness to the degree that I grinned like an idiot through all six existent chapters (it still has a long way to go methinks and I want to climb up a wall or something). Rukia is extremely adorable with her unpracticed reactions to her brother and Byakuya is totally IC...and sexy. So very sexy...

*fans self patiently*

A Byakuya in modern clothing is too good to pass up. Enough to bring the fangirl in me out. *chuckle*

Also, their relationship is evolving nice and slow - though I wouldn't much care if they suddenly pounced on each other right now. But maybe slow-evolution counts for ya'll.

I just started getting into Bleach again and Byakuya and Rukia are two of my favorite characters. I didn’t think about really shipping them romantically when I first started watching/reading Bleach because I was more interested in Gin/Ran. But now that I started up again and watching the new filler arc of the anime I started getting interested in ByaRuki, especially with the new opening and ending. I’m surprised no one has posted the videos here.

I know some people have a problem with this because they claim it is incest, but they are not blood or were raised together. She was also pretty old when she was adopted into the family. IMO I think some are just opposed because they wan Rukia with someone else. I think there are plenty of stories out there where an adopted siblings fall in love with each others. Ramona is one that I can think of right now.

But anyway I know this ship isn’t as popular as others, but that is understandable. Mostly because the primary characters seem to usually win out in popularity. But this ship seems to be bigger than ByaYoru, which I also like. I tend to like ships that have some major conflict in them. It makes for a more interesting story on how the author is going to get them together.

Right now I’ve been searching for fan art, fan videos and fan fiction for this ship. I’ve even been to the Fan Community for this couple, but I find that forum hard to follow the way it is set up. I prefer LJ. I haven’t really found any fanfiction that has really drawn me in as a reader. So does anyone have any recs and why you like the story? Thanks in advance.
