My job recently transfered me to another department... one that I was not too happy about. I was given a choice to either stay at my current department (well not so current anymore) or move to another one. Right now, my company is downsizing. I almost lost my job. According to my old manager, he was fighting with our director to not fire us (there were actually 3 people who going to get laid off, including myself). No one got fired, however, someone had to be transfered. That someone was either me or my co-worker. They offered me another job, it was my choice to take it or leave it, per say. I didn't want to "keep watching" my back knowing that my time at that department is limited, I took the offer. It's one of those jobs that you promised yourself you will never do because it's not you... well, look at me now!! I have to admit the people at my current department are fun. Much more fun that my old department. However, I miss my old co-workers. I miss my old job. I want it back!!
    I'm going to stay working here for now, but at the same time I going to continue looking for a job and study to get some certifications so I can add it to my resume.
